HAMILTON, BERMUDA — With a busy 2018 season ahead — including a League1 Ontario title defence and competing in the Canadian Championships — Oakville Blue Devils FC have been in full preparation mode since early January. The team’s off-season training regimen will be capped off with a pre-season tour to Bermuda for a final tune-up. The Blue Devils have accepted an invitation from the Bermuda Football association to visit the island and participate in a three team event aptly named The Bermuda Triangle Cup where they will face the Bermuda National Team and a Premier League All Star Select team.
“We are very honoured and excited by the invitation and the opportunity to complete our pre season preparations in Bermuda” commented Head Coach Duncan Wilde. “Our team will test itself against the Bermuda National Team, together with the island’s Premier League All-Star team, in what will certainly be fiercely competitive games. It is the perfect way for us to prepare for the challenges of defending our League 1 Title together with the National Championship kick off in early June”.
The Blue Devils will be in Bermuda from April 18-23 before returning to Oakville for the season opening game at Sheridan College Stadium on Sunday April 29th at 4pm. For more information on the Blue Devils pre-season tour and the Bermuda Triangle Cup, click here.
